Julie Shiflett - Founding Partner

Julie ShiflettMs. Shiflett provides on-site or remote Chief Financial Officer and Controller services. She has experience providing financial guidance to private and publicly held companies as well as emerging companies. Ms. Shiflett has been responsible for many successful mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising projects. Her expertise includes establishing strong banking relationships, business plans, budgeting/forecasting, cash flow improvement, profitability analysis and trend analysis of actual and future revenues and costs. She has also overseen successful software implementations.

Ms. Shiflett's education includes an undergraduate degree in accounting with a minor in economics and a master's degree in technology management. She began her career in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand and has since worked for both privately and publicly held companies in key financial roles including Controller, VP-Finance and Chief Financial Officer positions. Ms. Shiflett also currently serves on the Board of Directors for an $8 billion financial institution, a chemical manufacturing company and a regional hospital.

Julie exhibits an energy, passion and a drive to achieve results. Julie is married and lives in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She enjoys college football, live music, hunting, and any other outdoor activity.


Dusti Burmeister - Managing Partner

Dusti Burmeister Ms. Burmeister provides on-site or remote VP-Finance and Corporate Controller services. Ms. Burmeister has 14 years of diverse experience in the fields of accounting and finance. She spent 7 years in the Silicon Valley working for both public and privately held companies where she held positions as Senior Financial Analyst, Director of Budgeting and Corporate Controller. Her specialties consist of budgeting, strategic planning, profitability and what-if analysis, cash flow projections and general financial reporting packages. In 2007 she left California to return to her native state of Idaho where she became an independent contractor for small emerging and startup companies focusing on strategic planning, cash management and building a company's accounting department from the ground up.

Ms. Burmeister has two years of full time experience in both short and long term engagements, has taken multiple companies to profitability, assisted in debt and equity financing rounds as well as government grants and has clients in California, Salt Lake City and the Pacific Northwest.

In her spare time, Dusti enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
